YCBA Beekeeping 101 Classes
YCBA offers Beekeeping 101 classes for those interested in becoming beekeepers and managing honey bees. The classes are held monthly, starting in March and running through August. Course content and material is coordinated with what is happening in the hives at that particular time of year.

Mentoring
Please contact us if you are interested in working with a mentor. Anyone seeking a mentor must meet the following requirements:
- Must be an active YCBA member, and
- Must have completed at least one beekeeping course, either a local course OR Penn State online Beekeeping 101 course.
New Beekeeper Information
Bee Culture has a new beginner's magazine called "BEEkeeping: Your First Three Years".
It is a quarterly, newsstand-only offering, aimed specfically at new, and not quite so new beekeepers looking for reliable beekeeping information from sources that they can trust.
